Robert J. Gries, P.E.,
CCM, PMP
Robert (Robb) Gries has over twenty-two years
of progressively successful and challenging experience
in engineering, management, planning, and administration.
For the past fifteen years, Robb has worked on a wide
variety of construction projects (~$500 million US)
for the U.S. Department of Commerce's National Oceanic
and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). In 2003, Robb
was selected as the National Society of Professional
Engineer's Federal Engineer of the Year for NOAA.
He is Project Management Professional with PMI as
well as Certified Construction Manager with the Construction
Management Association of America (CMAA). He has served
as the CMAA - DPC SIG Liaison and Vice Chair of Membership
2003-2005, and more recently as the DPC SIG Chair
since 2005. Robb is also a graduate of PMI's Leadership
Institute Masters Class 2008. |

Douglast Kaiser, PMP
Douglas J. Kaiser is the Past Chair of the Project
Management Institute Design-Procurement-Construction
Specific Interest Group. Mr. Kaiser has been a project
manager in the design and construction industry in
the United States for more than 20 years. He has experience
as a project manager on commercial office, medical
office, retail, warehousing, manufacturing, multi-family
& single family residential facilities during
his career. He also has experience in organizational
management in the areas of recruiting & hiring,
professional development, and operations management.
He is currently employed as a Vice President of EXXCEL
Project Management managing capital programs and projects
for its strategic customers across the continental

A.
Lee Barco, P.E., PMP
Provides
facility engineering support for APM Terminals portfolio
of marine container terminals in North and South
America. Recently completed construction of the
largest, most highly automated, privately financed,
deep draft container terminal in the US, which opened
in September 2007.
Previously
a Manager with KPMG/BearingPoint, with responsibility
for strategic sourcing studies of public works,
facility management, construction management, and
engineering program management functions. Completed
a Coast Guard career spanning over 20 years which
included multiple project and program management
positions in engineering, construction, and financial
management. Serves as a Fellow in the American Society
of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and the Society of American
Military Engineers. Contributed to the revision
of the Construction Extension to the PMBOK for PMI
and a revised edition of Manual 73, Quality in the
Constructed Project for ASCE and the Construction
Institute.

Eric Johnson,
PMP, CPC
Eric
Johnson has more than 10 years of heavy/civil construction
project experience. He has held positions in the construction
industry ranging from Field Engineer to Owner/Operations
Manager on projects ranging in value from $25,000
to $100,000,000. Mr. Johnson has a B.S. in Building
Construction from Virginia Tech and is a Project Management
Professional (PMP) and a Certified Professional Constructor
(CPC), as designated by the American Institute of
Constructors. Eric currently serves as a Project Manager
/ Estimator for Texas Sterling Construction Co. of
Houston, Texas, USA. His current duties include full
responsibility of multiple projects from selection
to closeout. |

Gary Vandiver, PMP
Gary
Vandiver is a project management consultant with his
company Expert Project Management, LLC. Gary is currently
managing the design of sulfuric acid plants worldwide
for MECS, Inc. He has experience with virtual projects
and working with many clients in Asia where communications
issues must be addressed on an on-going basis.
While
Site Manager at a Superfund site from 1993 through
1998 Gary was responsible for communicating to the
community and the other stakeholders via a quarterly
newsletter, speaking engagements, meeting with the
Community Action Group and meeting with local governments
and legislators. While at Solutia he was the Leader
of the department safety team and responsible for
safety communications. Gary was also the primary
author of a Project Safety Manual.

Marcie Ramsey,
PMP
Marcie
Ramsey is a PMP and CPA (inactive). She is currently
Manager of Properties Project Management at FedEx
Express. Her group is responsible for approximately
60 facility related projects ranging from counter
upgrades to new Airport locations including the
sort handling equipment installation. New office
building construction and leasehold improvements
to existing buildings are also included.
Marcie holds a BS in Accounting, a MBA in Quantitative
Management, and a Master of Arts in Executive Leadership.

Judy Wilks, PMP
Born and raised in Montreal (Quebec), Judy
began her project management career in 1996, upon
obtaining her undergraduate degree in Airway Science
Management, with a major telecommunications company
in Canada, and then progressed up the ranks to senior
project manager on various engineering related projects
in North America and abroad within the aerospace,
manufacturing, banking and transportation industries.
Judy joined PMI in 2003 and in 2006 she became an
active volunteer with the Design-Procurement &
Construction (DPC) SIG where she was commission Deputy
Vice Chair of Membership. External to PMI, she is
also a member of Habitat for Humanity's Project Development
for the Central and Eastern Massachusetts region.
